We are a resourceful Mother and Daughter team living in the heart of Andalucia and are passionate about all things Spanish.

Christine Lackey (Mum) ‘My Father was one of the first foreigners to buy a property back in the 60’s on the island of Mallorca. It was to be the catalyst that kick started a love affair with Spain across all generations of our family. I made Mallorca my home for 23yrs before making the move to mainland Andalucia in 2003 and I am revelling in the opportunities for adventure and exploration here.

My work focuses on ensuring that genuine and competent support is available for fellow Brits contemplating the launch of their own andalucian adventures and this blog is to share some of the amazing finds that Kerry and I stumble across on our regular ‘lets just get in the car and drive’ trips. Enjoy.’

Kerry Lackey (gem of a daughter)  ‘Some of my earliest memories are of being in Spain with my granddad. He was a large, loud man who was well-received by the locals and would indulge in all local food and festivities with great gusto! As a young child, I spent most of my school holidays in Mallorca, eating squid and snails, riding donkeys and catching lizards. It was heaven.

Since moving from London to the north of Malaga in 2003, I have been keen to see and experience as much of the renowned andalucian passion, hospitality and culture as possible.  This blog will share some of my best, and often little known, discoveries. Come on in…….. ’
